Setting up your Teamtailor integration in SourceWhale is very simple, all you need to do is follow the steps below.

Step 1

Navigate to initials/image in the bottom left-hand corner of SourceWhale > Select Integrations from the dropdown box.

Step 2

Once on the integrations page simply select Teamtailor.

Step 3

To enable the Teamtailor integration, navigate to your API settings.

Create a new API key with the name SourceWhale. Set the API Scope to admin, and ensure that both Read and Write are selected.

Enter your API Key.

Step 4

Click Activate.

When the integration is active, you will see a green connected box appear to the right hand side of the Teamtailor logo.

Sync Features

On the integrations page, you will be able to set default settings for yourself and your team.

General Settings

  1. Do not merge with existing contacts in Teamtailor: Turning this toggle on will create duplicates in Teamtailor.

  2. Create notes upon: Choose for which outreach types a note is pushed in Teamtailor.

Sync Settings

  1. Only add notes to synced records: Toggling this on will mean that if you have "sync upon interested" or "sync upon replied" for the next option, we will only add notes to existing records in Teamtailor once a Candidate has been marked as "interested" or "replied".

  2. When adding to a campaign: Choose to sync when adding Candidates or when they respond or when they respond positively and are interested. Click the lock icon to lock the sync settings for all non-admin users within the platform.

  3. Displayed fields: Choose which Teamtailor fields users can optionally tag to a Candidate to push into Teamtailor.

  4. Mandatory fields: Choose which Teamtailor fields must be filled to push Candidates into Teamtailor.

  5. Protected fields: Selected fields will not be overwritten in Teamtailor when syncing data.

  6. Filterable fields: Selected fields will be displayed within the SourceWhale search page as a filter, allowing your team to search your CRM using these fields directly from within SourceWhale.

Stage Mapping

Here you can map SourceWhale stages to your custom Teamtailor stages.

  1. Select the drop-down for each stage to map it to the correct Teamtailor Stage

Note: Check out this article to learn more about the SourceWhale stages.

Field Mapping

Here you can customise and map all Teamtailor fields to the corresponding SourceWhale variable.

Note: Please do not adjust unless you are finding that the variables are not mapping as expected in Teamtailor.

  1. String Variables: These SourceWhale variables can only be mapped to one field in Teamtailor.

  2. List Variables: These SourceWhale variables can be mapped to multiple fields in Teamtailor.

  3. Social URLs: Link specific social URLs such as LinkedIn, Twitter etc to the correct field in Teamtailor.

You are now ready to start using your Teamtailor integrations.
