You can include custom images or custom GIFs in your campaigns to add that personal touch to your outreach. Although we do recommend you try and keep the use of pictures, GIFs, and videos to a minimum to maximize email deliverability. If you are going to use either images or GIFs we recommend they come later in your sequence and that you personalize them!
You can upload the image and add the text (including variables!) as per below:

Step 1
Navigate to your campaign steps and select the 'Insert Image/GIF' icon.
Step 2
Select 'Browse'.
Step 3
Select the image OR GIF you want to customize and press 'Open'.
Step 4
Select 'Insert Text'.
Step 5
You can select the custom variable icon to enter a custom variable, e.g. First Name.
Step 6
You can edit the font and also drag and move the text to fit the image.
Step 7
Select 'Insert'.
You will then be able to see the custom text when you run the extension on someone's profile or review your outreach when uploading a spreadsheet:

Step 1
Navigate to your campaign steps and select the 'Insert Image/GIF' icon.
Step 2
Insert a prompt to search for a GIF, hover over the GIF you would like to use, and then click 'customize'.
Step 3
You can customize the GIF by overlaying text and adding additional personalization with variables of your choice. You have the option to edit the font, font size, font colour, and more.

Click 'Insert Image' in the lower right-hand corner.
Step 5
Allow up to 10 seconds for the GIF to load in the text body.

Personalize Your Outreach with Custom Video GIFs
Step 1
Navigate to your campaign steps and select the 'Insert Image/GIF' icon
Step 2
Enable camera permissions in your browser. Then, click 'Record'
Step 3
Record a short video of yourself which will be converted into a GIF.
Step 4
If you're happy with your recording you can click 'Go!' or, if you'd like to retake the clip, you can click 'Retake' until you have the perfect recording.
Step 5
You can customize the GIF by overlaying text and adding additional personalization with variables of your choice. You have the option to edit the font, font size, font colour, and more.
