To upload contacts onto SourceWhale, whether as just contacts or to add them directly onto a campaign, you can do this from Google Sheets. Follow the steps below to learn how!

Step 1

Following this link will allow you to download this workspace: https://workspace.google.com/marketplace/app/sourcewhale/208912060098.

Step 2

On your Google Sheet, you can find the SourceWhale icon on the right-hand sidebar.

Step 3

Once you have clicked on the SourceWhale icon, a pop-up will appear to 'start importing'. Please click this button to start importing the contacts and their information. Please note that the importing process will only be successful if the data is valid, and this is ensured by having clear titles above each column of information e.g. 'First Name', 'Last Name', Location', 'Company' etc.

Step 4

When the upload is complete, a button to "Review Upload" will appear. Once you click on this, you will be directed onto the SourceWhale platform.

Step 5

Choose the options on the page of how you would like to add the contacts onto SourceWhale and the mapping settings. When you are ready, press 'Next', and you will be directed to a page where you can 'Review Outreach'.

Step 6

Once you are ready, click on the 'Review Outreach' and the outreach box will appear on the right-hand side showing the campaign sequence.

Step 7

Once you are happy with this, you can add the contacts to the campaign by clicking the 'Add All to Campaign' button.

Or, if you would like to check how the campaign looks to the recipient before actually adding them to the campaign, you can press the 'Send Test' button next to it and the campaign will send to yourself.
