In order to set up your Bullhorn for Salesforce integration on SourceWhale simply follow these steps.
Step 1
Navigate to your initials/image in the bottom left-hand corner > Select Integrations from the dropdown menu > Search for Bullhorn for Salesforce in the search bar.
Step 2
Click on connect and then click 'Activate'. This will redirect you to login to your Bullhorn for Salesforce Account
Once the integration is active you will see a green connected box by the Bullhorn for Salesforce icon.
Sync Features
On the integrations page, you will be able to set default settings for yourself and your team.
General Settings
Sync manual contact updates to Bullhorn for Salesforce
- Automatically update Bullhorn for Salesforce with any manual changes made by your team to contact fields in SourceWhale, such as name, company, role, location and more.Block emails to recipients marked as off-limits
- If turned on, SourceWhale will not send emails to contacts marked as off-limits/opt-out in Bullhorn for SalesforceRemove flagged email addresses
- If you flag an email address in SourceWhale, it will be removed from any contacts in Bullhorn for Salesforce that have the addressRemove flagged phone numbers
- If you flag a phone number in SourceWhale, it will be removed from any contacts in Bullhorn for Salesforce that have the numberDisplayed Account info
- Select the option to give further information regarding a company in the SourceWhale Chrome extension.Displayed Account Warning
- Select the option you would like displayed to help identify the correct company for a Candidate/Contact/Lead when there may be possible company duplicates or similarly named companies in Bullhorn for Salesforce.Create notes upon
- Choose for which outreach types a note is pushed in Bullhorn for Salesforce.Create accounts for

Sync Settings
Set different settings for Candidate/Client/Lead by clicking the dropdown.
Only add notes to synced records
- Toggling this on will mean that if you have "sync upon interested" or "sync upon replied" for the next option, we will only add notes to existing records in Bullhorn for Salesforce once a Candidate/Client has been marked as "interested" or "replied".When adding to a campaign
- Choose to sync when adding Candidate/Client or when they respond or when they respond positively and are interested. Click the lock icon to lock the sync settings for all non-admin users within the platform.Displayed Fields
- Choose which Bullhorn for Salesforce fields users can optionally tag to a Candidate/Client to push into Bullhorn for Salesforce.Mandatory Fields
- Choose which Bullhorn for Salesforce fields must be filled to push Candidates/Clients into Bullhorn for Salesforce.Protected Fields
- Selected fields will not be overwritten in Bullhorn for Salesforce when syncing data.Filterable Fields
- Selected fields will be displayed within the SourceWhale search page as a filter, allowing your team to search your CRM using these fields directly from within SourceWhale.
Note Mapping
Here you can map SourceWhale stages to your custom Bullhorn for Salesforce note types.
Set different settings for Candidate/Client/Lead by clicking the dropdown
Select the dropdown for each stage to map it to the correct Bullhorn for Salesforce Note Type
Field Mapping
Here you can customise and map all Bullhorn for Salesforce fields to the corresponding SourceWhale variable.
Please do not adjust unless you are finding that the variables are not mapping as expected in Bullhorn for Salesforce
