The Live Feed in SourceWhale is a dynamic notification system that shows events as they happen. This feature helps you understand the immediate impact of your outreach by informing you each time a prospect opens an email, clicks a link within it, or replies.

Live Feed Events

The live feed tracks three primary types of events:

  • Opens: When a recipient opens your email.

  • Clicks: When a recipient clicks a link in your email.

  • Replies: When you receive a reply to your email.

When an event is registered, the live feed will display details such as the type of interaction (open, click, reply), the contact name, the campaign name, when the last interaction occurred, as well as the total number of times the interaction has occurred. Read more about open and click tracking here.

Filtering Events

You can filter the live feed to view specific types of events. The available filters are:

  • Opens

  • Clicks

  • Replies

Dashboard Filters that Affect the Live Feed

Campaign Type: By selecting a specific campaign type, you can focus the live feed on interactions related to that campaign type, enabling you to gauge the effectiveness of different outreach strategies.

Group: The Group filter allows you to segment the live feed based on specific groups within your team. This is particularly useful for tracking and comparing engagement across your team.

Team: The 'Team' filter enhances your ability to monitor the live feed for specific team members. When you apply this filter, the live feed will display events exclusively related to the campaigns owned by the selected team member(s). This focused view allows for a clearer understanding of individual team member engagement.
