Using the SourceWhale Dialer

High-risk numbers have a higher likelihood of endangering the health of your own phone number. The more high-risk numbers you call, the more likely your number will be marked as spam.

SourceWhale helps you identify and avoid these high-risk numbers by blocking calls made to them from the SourceWhale Dialer.

There are two broad categories of High-Risk Numbers:

  1. Special Services numbers include premium, shared-cost, and special services number types. These numbers charge high rates to call and are commonly related to fraudulent activity.

  2. High risk for International Revenue Share Fraud numbers include numbers from 3rd party anti-fraud databases and from analyzing millions of calls on our provider's Super Network. Since these numbers can be bought and sold nearly instantly, this list is regularly updates the list. These ranges are not disclosed to further protect your account.

The SourceWhale Dialer is regularly updated with the latest high-risk regions and number ranges to protect your account from engaging with high-risk numbers.
