In order to set up your Zoho CRM integration on SourceWhale simply follow these steps:
Step 1
Navigate to your initials/image in the bottom left-hand corner > Select Integrations from the dropdown menu > Search for Zoho CRM in the search bar.
Step 2
Click 'Activate'
Once the integration is active you will see a green connected box by the Zoho CRM icon.
Integration Settings
On the integrations page, you will be able to set default settings for yourself and your team.
Contact Settings
Sync manual contact updates to Zoho CRM
- Automatically update Zoho CRM with any manual changes made by your team to contact fields in SourceWhale, such as name, company, role, location and more.
Adding to Zoho CRM
Add Contact/Lead to Zoho CRM
- Choose when Contacts/Leads get added to Zoho CRM, either when added to the campaign, when they respond or when they respond positively and are interested. Alternatively, you can choose to not add this contact type.
Only add notes to synced records
- Toggling this on will mean that if you have "only when they reply" or "only when they are interested" for the Add Contact/Lead to
option, we will only add notes to existing records in Zoho CRM once a Contact/Lead has been marked as "interested" or "replied".
Contact/Lead Fields
Displayed Fields
- Choose which Zoho CRM fields users can optionally tag to a Contact/Lead to push into Zoho CRM.
Mandatory Fields
- Choose which Zoho CRM fields must be filled to push a Contact/Lead into Zoho CRM.
Update field in Zoho CRM
- You can choose "Always update" or "Only update if Blank":
Always update will update the field regardless if there is existing information on a contact in this field. Any existing information will be overwritten by the new information.
Only update if Blank will only update when the field is empty and won't overwrite any existing data.
Advanced Settings
Filterable Fields
- Selected fields will be displayed within the SourceWhale search page as a filter, allowing your team to search your CRM using these fields directly from within SourceWhale.
Activity Notes
Here you can choose which activities will create notes in Zoho CRM.

- Choose for which outreach types a note is pushed in Zoho CRM.
Contact Fields
Here you can customise and map all Zoho CRM fields to the corresponding SourceWhale variable.
Please do not adjust unless you are finding that the variables are not mapping as expected in Zoho CRM.

- Select the option to give further information regarding a company in the SourceWhale Chrome extension.
Displayed account warning
- Select the option you would like displayed to help identify the correct company for a Contact/Lead when there may be possible company duplicates or similarly named companies in your CRM.
