To click through to Taleo profiles from the SourceWhale Chrome extension and the web app, you will need to create a custom field within Taleo. Follow along below to learn how!

Step 1

In Taleo, hover your mouse over the Administration menu and click Customize Recruit.

Step 2

Locate the Customize Fields section and click the Candidate Fields link.

Step 3

Locate the Candidate Custom Fields section and click New Field.

Step 4

Click the Data Type drop-down menu and select Web Link, then click Next.

Step 5

Enter 'SouceWhale Link' within the Display Label field. Under the Web Integration Link Template section, click the Select Field drop-down menu and choose Link to Candidate View.

Within the template body, copy and paste the Copy Merge Field Value. It should be <<CANDIDATE_LINK>>.

Under the Integration Information (Web API) section, enter 'SourceWhaleLink' (without any spaces) within the External Name field. Click Create.

Step 6

On the next screen, click Skip. Your custom field has been successfully created!
