Step 4

Click 'Activate'.

Once your integration is active you will see a green connected box appear by the Chameleon-i icon.

Sync Features

On the integrations page, an admin will be able to set default settings for yourself and your team.

General Settings

  1. Do not merge with existing contacts in Chameleon-i: Turning this toggle on will create duplicates in Chameleon-i.

  2. Backfill SourceWhale events when creating a contact: Turning this toggle on will push all of the notes for SourceWhale events that have happened prior to us creating the contact in the CRM.

  3. Displayed Company info: Select the option to give further information regarding a company in the SourceWhale chrome extension.

  4. Displayed Company Warning: Select the option you would like displayed to help identify the correct company for a Candidate or Client when there may be a possible company duplicates or similarly named companies in Chameleon-i.

  5. Create notes upon: Choose for which outreach types a note is pushed in Chameleon-i.

Sync Settings

  1. Set different settings for Candidates and Clients.

  2. Only add notes to synced records: Toggling this on will mean that if you have "sync upon interested" or "sync upon replied" for the next option, we will only add notes to existing records in Chameleon-i once a Candidate or Client has been marked as "interested" or "replied".

  3. When adding to a campaign: Choose to sync when adding Candidates or Clients or when they respond or when they respond positively and are interested.

  4. Protected fields: Selected fields will not be overwritten in Chameleon-i when syncing data.

  5. Filterable fields: Selected fields will be displayed within the SourceWhale search page as a filter, allowing your team to search your CRM using these fields directly from within SourceWhale.

Note Mapping

Here you can map SourceWhale outreach types to your custom Chameleon-i note types.

  1. Set different settings for Candidates/Clients

  2. Select the drop-down for each outreach type to map it to the correct Chameleon-i note type

Field Mapping

Here you can customise and map all Chameleon-i fields to the corresponding SourceWhale variable.

Note: Please do not adjust unless you are finding that the variables are not mapping as expected in Chameleon-i.

  1. Choose different field mapping for Candidates and Clients in Chameleon-i.

  2. String Variables: These SourceWhale variables can only be mapped to one field in Chameleon-i.

  3. List Variables: These SourceWhale variables can be mapped to multiple fields in Chameleon-i.

  4. Social URLs: Link specific social URLs such as LinkedIn, Twitter etc to the correct field in Chameleon-i.

You are now ready to start using your Chameleon-i integrations. See our article on using Chameleon-i with SourceWhale here.
