Notetaker - SourceWhale Agent [BETA]

Learn how the SourceWhale Agent lets you ask questions, summarise, draft follow-ups, and get coaching across all of your Notetaker meetings at once.

The SourceWhale Agent is a chat assistant built into the Meetings page. The agent can reason through every meeting transcript you have access to, so you can spot themes, summarize a week's worth of calls, draft follow-ups in bulk, and get coaching across recent activity. All in one place.

The agent is currently in BETA and being rolled out to a small group of customers. You will see a BETA badge next to it in-app. If you would like your team added, speak to your Account Manager.

How to Access the Agent

  1. Navigate to the Meetings page in SourceWhale.

  2. Open the agent panel from the right side of the page

  3. The scope chip at the top of the chat box defaults to All Meetings – this is where multi-meeting reasoning happens.

  4. When viewing a single meeting, the agent automatically focuses on that meeting, but will still have the context for all other meetings.

  5. Closing the meeting returns the scope to All Meetings.

What the Agent Can Do

The agent has access to your meeting transcripts and summaries, and can:

  • Summarise meetings – one call, your last 10 calls, or any subset, in a format ready to share with your team.

  • Draft follow-ups – emails capturing clear next steps from one call or across multiple recent calls.

  • Coach you – performance reviews and missed-discovery feedback, per-call or aggregated across recent calls.

  • Find the meeting / the quote – ask things like "which call did the client mention budget?" and the agent will point you to the right meeting and pull the quote.

  • Filter and search – find meetings by contact, topic, date range, or content within transcripts.

Other things to try

  • What objections have clients raised across my recent calls?

  • Which calls this week mentioned [competitor / topic / role]?

  • Summarise everything I have discussed with [contact name] across our meetings.

Privacy & Access

The agent only ever uses transcripts you have access to. Each meeting’s privacy setting (Public, Admins & Attendees, Attendees Only) is enforced on every query – so the agent cannot surface a meeting you would not normally be able to open. See Notetaker - Making Meetings Private and SourceWhale Notetaker: Privacy, Security & Compliance for more.

FAQs

Does this require any setup?

No. Once your team is enabled for the BETA, the agent appears on the Meetings page automatically.

How is this different from Ask AI inside an individual meeting?

Ask AI inside a meeting only answers questions about that single transcript. The SourceWhale Agent on the Meetings page can additionally reason across every meeting you have access to – making it ideal for summarising a week of calls, spotting patterns, or drafting follow-ups in bulk. See Notetaker - Ask AI for the single-meeting experience.

Why can’t I see the agent yet?

It is in BETA and only enabled for a small group of customers. Speak to your Account Manager if you would like to be added.

Can teammates see my meetings through the agent?

No. The agent respects each meeting’s privacy setting – users only get answers from transcripts they already have permission to view.

Why is it labelled BETA?

We are road-testing the underlying multi-meeting infrastructure with a small group of customers before rolling it out more widely. Functionality and prompts may evolve based on feedback – please send any thoughts to your CSM.
