ApplicantStack is an Applicant Tracking System (ATS). When integrated with SourceWhale, you can push candidates sourced from SourceWhale directly into ApplicantStack, keeping your sourcing and recruitment pipeline in sync.
To set up your ApplicantStack integration on SourceWhale, follow these steps:
Step 1
Navigate to your initials/image in the bottom left-hand corner > Select Integrations from the dropdown menu.
Search for ApplicantStack in the search bar.
Step 2
Enter your API Key and Domain.
API Key: Found in ApplicantStack under Admin > API Keys. Generate a new key if you don't have one already.
Domain: The subdomain portion of your ApplicantStack URL. For example, if your ApplicantStack URL is
yourcompany.applicantstack.com, your domain isyourcompany.
Step 3
Once you have entered the relevant details, click Activate.
Once the integration is active, you will see a green Connected indicator next to the ApplicantStack icon.
Using the ApplicantStack Integration
Once connected, you can push candidates sourced in SourceWhale directly into ApplicantStack.
Pushing a Candidate to ApplicantStack
In the ApplicantStack settings for a SourceWhale campaign, choose when to sync contacts: use the admin setting, when adding a contact, when the contact replies, or when the contact replies and is interested. First and last name are required to push a candidate. You can select an ApplicantStack Job for a new candidate. If SourceWhale finds a matching candidate in ApplicantStack, it updates that candidate instead of creating a new one; the selected Job is applied only to new candidates.
Note: The ApplicantStack integration is set up at the team level. Once connected by an admin, it is available to all team members without requiring individual setup.
