Setting up the Homerun Integration

This article describes how to set up your Homerun integration.

Homerun is an Applicant Tracking System (ATS). When integrated with SourceWhale, you can push candidates sourced in SourceWhale directly into Homerun, keeping your recruitment pipeline in sync across both platforms.

How to Set Up the Homerun Integration

Step 1 - Open Integrations

Navigate to your initials or profile image in the bottom left-hand corner and select Integrations from the dropdown menu.

Search for Homerun in the search bar.

Step 2 - Retrieve your API key from Homerun

Log in to Homerun and navigate to the Homerun Integrations Settings page. Find the SourceWhale integration section and copy your API key (or generate a new one if you haven't already).

Paste the key into the API key field in SourceWhale, then click Activate.

Step 3 - Confirm the connection

Once the integration is active, you will see a green Connected indicator next to the Homerun icon.

FAQs

Does every team member need to connect Homerun individually?

No. Homerun credentials are stored for your SourceWhale team, so the integration does not need to be connected separately by each team member. Connect the team's Homerun account once in SourceWhale's Integrations settings, then team members can use it.

How do I push a candidate from SourceWhale to Homerun?

Once connected, you will see the option to push candidates to your connected ATS when viewing a contact in SourceWhale. Select Homerun as the destination to send the candidate across.
