Once you have entered the API Key and email then click 'Activate'.

Once your integration is active you will see a green connected box appear by the Copper icon.

On the integrations page, an admin will be able to set default settings for yourself and your team.

  3. Protected Fields - Selected fields will not be overwritten in Copper when syncing data.

  4. Filterable Fields - Selected fields will be displayed within the SourceWhale search page as a filter, allowing your team to search your CRM using these fields directly from within SourceWhale.

Note Mapping

Here you can map SourceWhale outreach types to your custom Copper note types.

Select the drop-down for each outreach type to map it to the correct Copper note type

Field Mapping

Here you can customise and map all Copper fields to the corresponding SourceWhale variable.

Please do not adjust unless you are finding that the variables are not mapping as expected in Copper.

  1. Set different settings for Person/Company

  2. String Variables - These SourceWhale variables can only be mapped to one field in Copper.

  3. List Variables - These SourceWhale variables can be mapped to multiple fields in Copper.

  4. Social URLs - Link specific social URLs such as LinkedIn, Twitter etc to the correct field in Copper.

Using Copper with SourceWhale

Within SourceWhale you can use the Copper integration features in the campaign settings or Chrome extension.

Campaign Settings

When creating a campaign, you will be prompted with this pop-up:

Below the campaign name and type, you can choose whether to sync as a Person or not to sync. You can also choose to adjust the default sync settings.

Chrome Extension

When using the Chrome extension you will be able to access some of these features as well. This option is available in order to give the ability to change the settings you have previously set, for specific individuals.

I.e. In the campaign settings page, you have selected that you want everyone to be pushed through as a Person, but you come across someone you'd rather not push through, you can then change this by clicking on the 'sync as' box and selecting the option that suits that Person better.

Your team admin can alter the fields displayed at any time by going to the integrations page.
