How Phone Search Credits work
Phone search credits are necessary to search for a person's phone number for the first time. We will only charge one phone credit per search, even if more than one phone number is found. Once you have found the phone number once, then you will not use another credit if you search for it again in the future, as it belongs to you.
Turn on Auto-Searching Phones
Auto-Search Phones: This feature will allow you to find phone numbers for profiles, without having to click the "Phone" button on the extension.
Once you have downloaded the beta extension, from your Chrome browser, you will need to right-click on the SourceWhale icon in the top right of your screen and then select "Auto Search Options".
Then you will need to select "Auto Search Phones" and ensure there is a tick next to it.
If you need to turn it off, simply select Auto Search Phones again ensuring there is no tick next to it.
Please note this will use your credits if the extension is open in the background.
ADMINS: Turn off Auto-Search for whole team
If you are an admin and want to turn off this feature for your whole team, head to your Admin page under your profile icon.
Head to Settings and then turn the toggle off for "Allow Auto-Search Phone Numbers"
