Zoom for SourceWhale App

The Zoom for SourceWhale app allows you to automatically generate Zoom meeting links when booking meetings through SourceWhale. Once connected, Zoom becomes available as a meeting provider AI–generated meetings.

Adding the Zoom for SourceWhale App

Follow these steps to connect Zoom to your SourceWhale account.

Prerequisites

  • You must have a Zoom account.

  • You must be using SourceWhale’s Inbox Agent (available for Gmail and Outlook).

Connecting Zoom to SourceWhale

  1. Open the SourceWhale Inbox Agent in Gmail or Outlook

  2. In the Meeting Link Options section next to Zoom, click Connect

  3. A small pop-up will appear asking you to sign in and approve the SourceWhale Zoom app

  4. The window will close automatically, and Zoom will now be enabled as an option

Using the Zoom for SourceWhale App

In Inbox Agent, you can choose which video conferencing service SourceWhale should use when you schedule a meeting.

The available video conferencing link options are:

  1. Google Meet - (default selected if your email provider is Gmail)

  2. Microsoft Teams - (default selected if your email provider is Outlook)

  3. Zoom - (available for both Google and Microsoft email providers)

AI drafts will automatically generate a meeting link with your chosen video conferencing platform.

In order for AI drafts to generate Zoom meeting links, you must follow the steps above to connect your Zoom account and ensure it is selected as your default meeting provider. If Zoom is not connected it will appear in the Inbox Agent as disabled.


Removing the Zoom for SourceWhale App

You can disconnect or remove the Zoom for SourceWhale app at any time.

How to Remove the App

  1. Sign in to your Zoom account at zoom.us

  2. Go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps

  3. Find Zoom for SourceWhale

  4. Click Remove

Implications of Removing the App

When you remove the app:

  • SourceWhale will no longer be able to generate Zoom meetings for you

  • Any existing meetings you have already created remain untouched

  • Your authorization data associated with Zoom is removed from SourceWhale

  • You may reconnect Zoom at any time by repeating the steps in the “Adding the App” section


Troubleshooting Guide

  • Zoom option is disabled in the Inbox Agent

    You may not have connected Zoom yet. Click Connect next to Zoom and follow the setup steps.

  • The pop-up Zoom authentication window didn’t appear

    Your browser may be blocking pop-ups. Enable pop-ups for your email provider (Gmail or Outlook).

  • Zoom is connected but meetings aren’t being created

    Ensure that:

    • Your Zoom email matches your SourceWhale email

    • Zoom is selected as your meeting provider
