Setting up your JazzHR integration in SourceWhale is very simple, all you need to do is follow the steps below.

Click on your initials/image in the bottom left-hand corner of SourceWhale > Select Integrations from the dropdown menu.

Once on the integrations page, select JazzHR. You can retrieve your JazzHR API key from here and enter it in the field.

Once you have entered the API Key then click Activate. Once activated a green connected box should appear.

On the integrations page, you will be able to set default settings for yourself and your team.

Sync manual contact updates to JazzHR - Automatically update JazzHR with any manual changes made by your team to contact fields in SourceWhale, such as name, company, role, location and more.

Add Applicant to JazzHR / Add Contact to JazzHR - Choose when SourceWhale adds an applicant or contact to JazzHR: when they are added to a campaign, when they reply, or when they show interest. You can also turn off syncing for either contact type.

Only add notes to synced records - Turn this on to delay note creation until a record is synced. If you choose only when they reply or only when they're interested for the Add Applicant to JazzHR or Add Contact to JazzHR setting, SourceWhale adds notes to existing JazzHR records only after the person replies or shows interest.

Update field in JazzHR? - You can choose "Always update" or "Only update if blank":

Always update will update the field regardless if there is existing information on a contact in this field. Any existing information will be overwritten by the new information.

Only update if blank will only update when the field is empty and won't overwrite any existing data.

Create notes upon - Choose which SourceWhale activities create notes in JazzHR.

Log all notes even if duplicate notes exist - Turn this on to log notes even if a duplicate note already exists.

If you do not map a note to a JazzHR action type, it will still be created without a specific action type or category.

Here you can customise and map all JazzHR fields to the corresponding SourceWhale variable.
