Using More People Search Filters in SourceWhale Search

Learn how to combine People Search filters, including Custom Fields, in SourceWhale Search so you can build more precise people lists.

Overview

SourceWhale Search now includes more structured People Search filters, including Custom Fields.

Use these filters with your search prompt to narrow people in one search experience.

These filters are available to all users with SourceWhale Search. For Custom Fields, use Build manually; they are not generated from the search prompt.

How It Works

  1. Open Search from the left sidebar.

  2. Select SourceWhale in the source selector.

  3. Click Build manually with the sliders icon.

  4. Choose a filter in Ideal Profile.

  5. Set the value or date range for the filter.

  6. Click Search.

Use more than one filter to narrow your people list further.

  • Number: set a minimum, maximum, or both.

  • Date: set a start date, end date, or both.

  • Multi-select: choose options and use OR, AND or NOT to include or exclude matching people.
