Avionté Integration Setup

Setup

Please contact your Account Manager to integrate with Avionté.

Integration Settings

On the integrations page, you will be able to set default settings for yourself and your team.

Contact Settings

Sync manual contact updates to Avionté - Automatically update Avionté with any manual changes made by your team to contact fields in SourceWhale, such as name, company, role, location and more.

Adding to Avionté

Add Talent/Contact to Avionté - Choose when Talents/Contacts get added to Avionté, either when added to the campaign, when they respond or when they respond positively and are interested. Alternatively, you can choose to not add this contact type.

Only add notes to synced records - Toggling this on will mean that if you have "only when they reply" or "only when they are interested" for the Add Talent/Contact to option, we will only add notes to existing records in Avionté once a Talent/Contact has been marked as "interested" or "replied".

Talents/Contacts Fields

Note - If you rename any fields in Avionté (e.g., Skills or Status), the updated field names will not be reflected in the Fields drop down.

Displayed Fields - Choose which Avionté fields users can optionally tag to a Talent/Contact to push into Avionté.

Mandatory Fields - Choose which Avionté fields must be filled to push Talents/Contacts into Avionté.

Update field in Avionté - You can choose "Always update" or "Only update if Blank":

Always update will update the field regardless if there is existing information on a contact in this field. Any existing information will be overwritten by the new information.

Only update if Blank will only update when the field is empty and won't overwrite any existing data.

Advanced Settings

Default activity type of note for a Talent - Set the default note type for a Talent

Default Status - Add new Talents/Contacts with a default status.

Filterable Fields - Selected fields will be displayed within the SourceWhale search page as a filter, allowing your team to search your CRM using these fields directly from within SourceWhale.

Activity Notes

Here you can choose which activities will create notes in Avionté.

Note creation

Create new notes from - Choose for which outreach types a note is pushed in Avionté.

Note mapping

Here you can map SourceWhale activities to your custom Avionté note types.

Set different settings for Talent/Contact by selecting the relevant tab.

Select the dropdown for each stage to map it to the correct Avionté Note Type

You don't need to map notes as the note will still be created in the CRM (just without a specific note action type/category) but mapping helps track ROI.

Contact Fields

Here you can customise and map all Avionté fields to the corresponding SourceWhale variable.

Please do not adjust unless you are finding that the variables are not mapping as expected in Avionté.

Using Avionté with SourceWhale

Important Note

⚠️ Talents and contacts will both require email addresses in order to be pushed into Avionté

  • Users will have a notification populate by their user profile picture in the bottom left if someone has been attempted to be pushed into Avionté without one.

Within SourceWhale you can use the Avionté integration features in the campaign settings or Chrome extension.

Campaign Settings

When creating a campaign, you will be prompted with this pop-up:

Below the campaign name and type, you can choose whether to sync as a Talent/Contact. You can also choose to adjust the default sync settings. If you click on the grey arrow to the right-hand side of the 'Sync Options', you will see that you have the possibility to push Talents/Contacts through with specific tags.

Chrome Extension

When using the Chrome extension you will be able to access some of these features as well. This option is available in order to give you the ability to change the settings you have previously set, for specific individuals.

I.e. In the campaign settings page, you have selected that you want everyone to be pushed through as a Talent, but you come across someone you'd rather push through as a Contact, you can then change this by clicking on the 'sync as' box and selecting the option that suits that contact better.

You can do the same in regards to advanced setting options, by clicking on the grey arrow to the right of the 'Sync as' box.

Your team admin can alter the fields displayed at any time by going into the integrations page.
