Updated over a year ago

Setting up your Pipedrive integration in SourceWhale is very simple, all you need to do is follow the steps below.

Step 1

Go to your initials/image in the bottom left-hand corner of SourceWhale and click on it > Select Integrations from the dropdown box > Select Pipedrive.

Step 2

Once Pipedrive has been selected, click 'Activate'.

When the integration is active, you will see a green connected box appear to the right hand side of the Pipedrive logo.

Sync Features

On the integrations page, you will be able to set default settings for yourself and your team.

General Settings

  1. Do not merge with existing contacts in Pipedrive: Turning this toggle on will create duplicates in Pipedrive.

  2. Don't overwrite existing CVs in Pipedrive: If contact has an existing CV in Pipedrive, we will not upload a new CV.

  3. Backfill SourceWhale events when creating a contact: Turning this toggle on will push all of the notes for SourceWhale events that have happened prior to us creating the contact in the CRM.

  4. Displayed Organization info: Select the option to give further information regarding a company in the SourceWhale Chrome extension.

  5. Displayed Organization Warning: Select the option you would like displayed to help identify the correct company for a Contact when there may be possible company duplicates or similarly named companies in Pipedrive.

  6. Create notes upon: Choose for which outreach types a note is pushed in Pipedrive.

Sync Settings

  1. Only add notes to synced records: Toggling this on will mean that if you have "sync upon interested" or "sync upon replied" for the next option, we will only add notes to existing records in Pipedrive once a Contact has been marked as "interested" or "replied".

  2. When adding to a campaign: Choose to sync when adding Contacts or when they respond or when they respond positively and are interested. Click the lock icon to lock the sync settings for all non-admin users within the platform.

  3. Displayed fields: Choose which Pipedrive fields users can optionally tag to a Contact to push into Pipedrive.

  4. Mandatory fields: Choose which Pipedrive fields must be filled to push Contacts into Pipedrive.

  5. Protected fields: Selected fields will not be overwritten in Pipedrive when syncing data.

  6. Filterable fields: Selected fields will be displayed within the SourceWhale search page as a filter, allowing your team to search your CRM using these fields directly from within SourceWhale.
